Due to a very high demand for services, we are currently booking most appointments 2 to 3 months out (dependent on species and weight). Please call or email for more information.

The Capital Area Humane Society is pleased to provide low-cost spay and neuter surgery services for our community. Puppies and kittens can be fixed at 2-months-old, as long as they weigh two pounds.

Spay & Neuter services are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do not accept “walk ins” and we do not offer vaccine-only appointments.

Please call us at (517) 908-0756 with your flea and heartworm preventative needs in advance and we will have them ready for you upon your arrival.
