CAHS SHELTER STATISTICS
Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) has been serving the community, and saving lives, for more than 85 years. In 2021, we placed 4,355 animals into loving homes, and spayed/neutered 6,068 pets at our offsite clinic. As a non-profit, CAHS does not receive tax dollars, or government funding. We rely on the kindness and generosity of our donors to support our mission of promoting the humane treatment of companion animals through protection, placement, education, and example.
