COVID-19 UPDATE - 6/2/20

CAHS is excited to announce we will be re-opening to the public on Thursday, June 4. Visitors will be allowed to come into the shelter, and adoptions will no longer be appointment-based. As we are following CDC guidelines, and limiting the number of people in the building, you must adhere to the following: * Face masks will be required for all members of the public, and staff, inside the building. Social-distancing will also be enforced both inside and outside the facility. Cleaning procedures have been updated to ensure the safety of our community. * If we are at our limit of people allowed in the building when you arrive, you will be asked wait outside or in your car. * We are accepting donations and they may be dropped-off during our business hours. * Active volunteers will be contacted when you are able to start volunteering again. If you are a current volunteer, and have questions, please contact Lexy at [email protected] * We are not accepting new volunteers at this time. We appreciate your patience and support during this time. We look forward to seeing you again, and finding loving homes for our pets. Thank you!

Due to the cancellation of our Fur Ball Gala, we are currently facing a significant shortage for our Special Care & Cruelty Fund. Gifts to this fund provide homeless pets with specialized medical care, above which CAHS can normally provide. It additionally cares for animals who are victims of abuse and neglect. Please join us now in our efforts to save homeless pets by donating to our Special Care & Cruelty Fund. Your gifts will save pets, like Sweet Potato. Sweet Potato came to CAHS in November 2019 in grave condition. Because of donors, like you, she is now living her best healthy and happy life. To give a gift and view an exclusive video featuring Sweet Potato, please click on the blue "DONATIONS NEEDED" button.
