Help bring our animals “Home Fur the Holidays” during our annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 5 from 12-7 p.m. We will have a bake sale full of delicious sweets and adoption specials running all day. Santa will be visiting, so bring your own pets and get holiday photos taken of the entire family. Please note that Santa is very busy this time of year and will only be at the shelter until 4 p.m. Photos are $10 each and due to the popularity of Santa photos in the past, are on a first-come, first-served basis.
WINTER WONDERLAND MINI CAMP 2015
CAHS is proud to present our 6th annual winter camp experience! The coolest way to warm up during break is to cozy up with fuzzy friends at the shelter. Campers will be invited to pet and play with the animals, as well as, enjoy a variety of games and art projects. Themes and activities change daily. All students ages 8-14 are welcome to attend. Pre-registration is required. Campers will interact with designated shelter pets in a safe, supervised environment. Camp will run from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. each day. Campers must bring a sack lunch and snack. Please bring appropriate gear for outdoor activities. Session 1 runs from December 21-22 and Session 2 runs from December 28-29. The fee is $75 per session or $125 for both sessions. For more information, please contact our Humane Educator, Lindsay Sandusky-Post, at
